Pacasmayo

A poco más de cien kilómetros al norte de Trujillo esta Pacasmayo, un puerto abierto en 1775 por los españoles para embarcar minerales y tabaco producido en Ecuador, Jaén y Tumbes. Su largo muelle fue construido entre 1872 y 1878 y en la actualidad sólo sirve para la pesca artesanal. Hoy convertido en balneario es uno de los mejores lugares para correr olas. La estación del antiguo ferrocarril, el faro, el malecón, sus concurridas playas y la comida a base de pescado son sus principales atractivos.
(Little more than one hundred kilometers to the north of Trujillo is Pacasmayo, a port opened in 1775 by the Spaniards to embark minerals and tobacco produced in Ecuador, Jaén and Tumbes. Its long pier was constructed between 1872 and 1878 and at the present time is only used for the artisan fishing. Today turned as beach resort it is one of the best places for surfing. Al inicio de este mes llegó a nuestra casa un miembro más en nuestra familia, su nombre es Tayta, tiene diez años, ahora vive con nosotros y es feliz aquí. Con ustedes... la Tayta!
